Grand Finals Recap (2021)

Between end-of-season awards, weekly news, and the Overwatch 2 showcase, we have a whole mountain of news to cover! We kick off with a brief discussion of the roster discussion rules for 2022, talking about how the upcoming extension dates will affect league talent. We go on to cover the end-of-season awards for Season 4 as the team awards MVP, Rookie of the Year and more honors. From here, we dive into the Overwatch 2 showcase we received during Grand Finals, and give our overall impressions followed by the Bastion and Sombra reworks.

Next, we give our game by game coverage of the entire OWL playoff bracket. We discuss both the results and best plays from each match, talking about what strategies, huge plays, and more sealed the win for some teams and led to heartbreaking losses for others.
