Episode 102 of SITREP Radio brings a recap of the news that update 1.8.1 will be live across all platforms next Thursday (that’s April 12th). The lads run down exactly what the new, free, update will bring to players of The Division.

Mike, Rob and Luke also have a lengthy discussion this week about how improvements to fundamentals of The Division could be made in the sequel. Cover-Mechanics, Variations on the grind and PvP Time-to-Kill feature heavily.

The lads also discuss the “rumour” that the guys over at Massive are working on a brand new Battle Royale title, along side working on Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 and the Avatar game. They must have some hard working developers over there in Sweden, that is for sure. This story has done the rounds on more than a couple of different websites this work, so while nothing is official and only “sources” are quoted, the lads thought it a good talking point to bring up during this weeks episode.
