Global Events are a Success. Leaderboards, Not So Much.
The First GE Is Now Over as Leaderboard Troubles Cause Controversy For Some....
SITREPRadio present episode 69, the focus of which is update 1.7 which went live on Tuesday. Mike, Rob and Luke have been grinding away at the Global Event since its launch, and are really enjoying the fun element that is very much back in-game now. “Outbreak” as this Global Event is known forces players to play missions, incursions and HVTs in a specific way, with a damage modifier being applied to you if you get too close to NPCs. This doesn’t quite agree with Rob and Luke’s play-style, but they certainly appreciate the way it is changing their focus and forcing them to change their Division-habits.
There is also talk of Commendations which also went live with the new update. These are challenges that get players to perform specific tasks (for example, burst 400 car tyres) with small rewards and new vanity patches for those that you complete. Completionists like Luke are really enjoying these and have multiple carrots to chase after, so #TeamSITREP say “go and chase those carrots guys and girls”.
Update 1.7 is a success, simple as that.
Mike is a huge lover of all things media based. From games to movies, comics and music. Preferably the alternative genre.

I've been a gamer ever since I can remember. I started with a Commodore64, then Amiga1200, and various PCs. Consoles I've owned include SNES, Wii, GameCube, Xbox 360 and every version of PlayStation to date. My most played games are Team Fortress Classic, Championship Manager, early COD titles (don't mention Black Ops or MW3!) as well as almost all of the Gran Turismo and GTA series'.

What makes fighting games unique, the impact of modern trends, and the significance of community and representation within the genre.
Rounding up the second 7.2 Live Letter preview and patch notes just prior to release.
Jaal doesn't want Ryder to kill Akksul, but maybe Ryder has an itchy trigger finger. And by Ryder we mean Nick.
