This week Nick is joined by hosts from WoW! Talk!, Warcraft Reloaded, The Tauren & the Goblin, and Push the Point to discuss BlizzConline that happened this weekend. Nick kicks off the main panel with Rei and Eric from WoW! Talk! And Kurabara from Dropping Spicy and Clan of Three.
The panel starts by discussing their impressions of BlizzConline. Eric mentions that he liked the interface and how easy it was to watch the panels on YouTube, while Kurabara complains about having to choose between panels. Nick mentions that Blizzard could have stretched this out over a week and not had to program against themselves. Then they talk about the Blizzard Arcade announcement, and Eric shares his experience playing Rock ‘N Roll Racing.
Bob, Mel, and CognitivePit from Overwatch discuss the Burning Crusade Classic announcement. They talk about blood elves and draenai being made available in the pre-patch so players can get a jump on getting to max level. They also talk about the attention Classic got as they were the first franchise featured after Brack’s introduction and even had developers present for the WoW Dev Q&A. They also look at how the character copying will work when transitioning from Classic to Burning Crusade.
The main panel discusses the World of Warcraft Chains of Domination content update. Eric is excited for the new raid. Rei has questions about the cinematic. They talk about flying coming and the updates to the covenant campaigns.
Katie from the The Tauren & the Goblin joins Nick to talk about the Patch 9.1 cinematic in detail. Katie is hyped up for the lore implications. Nick was underwhelmed at first. They debate if Anduin is playing the situation properly but they are looking forward to seeing what happens to Sylvanas next.
The panel reviews some of the other presentations from BlizzConline. They talk about the debut of the Wandering Ancient mount. Nick praises Andrea Toyias and her work on the Voice actor panels.
They also talk briefly about the Hearthstone expansion announcement. Eric is excited for Diablo II Resurrected crossplay. Nick liked the rogue video for Diablo IV and appreciated the focus on the ears.
Jarret joins Ramses and Lobosco from Push the Point to discuss the Overwatch 2 Behind the Scenes panel which revealed what to expect with Overwatch 2 PVE. They also discussed the lack of announcements regarding PvP in Overwatch 2.
Finally, the main panel wraps up the show talking about the Karmic joke that was Metallica’s performance, as streamed on Twitch.
