Nick and Katie are back and this week they are up to the Ardenweald part of the leveling campaign. But first, Katie talks about her experiences taking her brother and father through Pandaria and then Zandalar, and in particular the stairs of Dazar’Alor a few times.

Nick then jumps right into the story. He picks up with our return to Oribos where Calia and Taelia are meeting with Bolvar and mentions that any theory that they are a family should now be dead. Then they transition to the introduction to Ardenweald. Nick mentions that his first thought upon seeing Lady Moonberry was that the Night Fae look a bit like Naaru, and he goes into the possible connection between Elune and the Winter Queen.

Katie then talks about the Spriggans and how murderous they are. They run through the next part of the campaign until they get to the introduction of the Drust, which Nick mentions hits differently for Alliance and Horde players. Then they follow the story to the introduction of the Gorm, and Nick goes off about how much he hates the Gorm and establishes they are why he did not choose the Night Fae covenant. Katie tries to get him to appreciate the Gorm but Nick refuses.

They then run through the story to Ysera’s rebirth, and both of them gush over how well the cinematics were done. They talk about how Ardenweald getting a dragon means that they didn’t feel as compelled to choose that covenant, and then mention the Winter Queen’s set up for heading to Revendreth to meet with Sire Denathrius.

Hosts

Nick Zielenkievicz

Host of WoW! Talk! and The Tauren & The Goblin. Sometimes known as the Video Games Public Defender. Wants to play more Destiny and Marvel Heroes but WoW is all-consuming. Decent F2P Hearthstone player. Sad that he lost the Wii that had Wrecking Crew on it. Would be happy if the only game ever made was M.U.L.E. Gragtharr on Skywall-US. Garresque on Ravencrest-US.

Katie Grace

Katie is a long time gamer who has fallen in love with multiple genres. She started young by playing Nintendo 64, Spyro, and Blizzard games such as Warcraft II with family, then eventually moved into playing games in both my leisure time and as a occupation. She loves being immersed in different universes and exploring the characters that live in them, as well as just playing games for a good time.
