On the Raid Cinematics
Nick and Katie talk about Zereth Mortis and the Sepulcher cinematics. And they keep talking. For a while....
Nick and Katie are back to talk about the Warcraft story and this week they’ve got Cyrub and Projali from Scrubs vs. the World joining them! They begin with Scrubs explaining why they put their show on hiatus and what prompted them to return.
Next they talk about the upcoming release of Patch 9.2 and the new Zereth Mortis zone. They talk about what they are most excited for in the patch. Projali is excited for the new Sepulcher of the First Ones raid. They talk about how mythic raiders will have to determine how to handle the fact that the last three bosses will not be available prior to the mythic raid opening. Cyrub talks about how WoW has been missing surprise moments due to datamining and looks forward to some surprises in this new raid format. They talk about their experiences when they learned that Sargeras stabbed the planet as a point of comparison. This leads to a chat about the physics of planetary rotation with a sword sticking out. They move on to talking about the Sylvanas fight and how her health value was perceived by the community when she was first encountered. Projali shares a theory that Anduin was supposed to be the boss of the original 9.2 raid, and the Jailer was supposed to be the boss of the raid that should have been in 9.3. Nick asks about locking rid content behind story chapters. Cyrub compares the new raid to Ulduar. They talk about running bleeding edge content and discuss the new Protoform Synthesis crafting.
Next, they talk about who the biggest scrubs in Shadowlands are. Cyrub suggests Pelagos, which leads to a discussion about the Kyrian Covenant as a whole. Katie mentions Garrosh but nominates Denathrius because he gets stuck in his own sword. Nick wonders if that isn’t actually genius. Projali consides Meuh’zala, who got played by Bwonsamdi. They get sidetracked talking about everyone on Azeroth needing eyeglasses. Nick brings up Anduin but then settles on Sylvanas for getting worked over by the Jailer.

Host of WoW! Talk! and The Tauren & The Goblin. Sometimes known as the Video Games Public Defender. Wants to play more Destiny and Marvel Heroes but WoW is all-consuming. Decent F2P Hearthstone player. Sad that he lost the Wii that had Wrecking Crew on it. Would be happy if the only game ever made was M.U.L.E. Gragtharr on Skywall-US. Garresque on Ravencrest-US.
Katie is a long time gamer who has fallen in love with multiple genres. She started young by playing Nintendo 64, Spyro, and Blizzard games such as Warcraft II with family, then eventually moved into playing games in both my leisure time and as a occupation. She loves being immersed in different universes and exploring the characters that live in them, as well as just playing games for a good time.
