Nick and Katie are back to talk about Battle for Azeroth this week! They lament not having played as much as they’d like, and then start to delve into what’s going on with Rastakhan given the revelation he will be an Alliance boss in Patch 8.1. Nick suggests that Bwonsamdi will be involved in the fight in some capacity, and then gives his crazy theory about the true nature of Bwonsamdi. This leads to a discussion of the loa and their relationship to the world, and how Bwonsamdi is different from all the other loa. Vol’jin’s claim that the loa told him to appoint Sylvanas as Warchief is examined. Nick wonders if the forces of Death are trying to claim the Horde for themselves. Katie shares her theories for Vol’jin and Bwonsamdi.

Also, Katie took a trip to Blizzard this past week. She talks about checking out the library which is like nerd heaven. She recounts getting to see the famous orc statue. She does not have any secrets about the future of WoW she can share.
Colin emailed in asking about where to start with the lore. Katie responds with her recommendations for the books to go with. He also asks about us covering Alliance lore, which will eventually be covered. Both Katie and Nick have interest in getting through Kul Tiras to talk about that side of things.

Also, Katie will be on the Warcraft Panel at Con Before the Storm this year, and Nick will be on the Pod Before the Con Warcraft show a few days earlier.

Our next show is scheduled for October 3, at 10:30 pm E, with special guests The Training Dummies, here to talk about Brewfest!

Hosts

Nick Zielenkievicz

Host of WoW! Talk! and The Tauren & The Goblin. Sometimes known as the Video Games Public Defender. Wants to play more Destiny and Marvel Heroes but WoW is all-consuming. Decent F2P Hearthstone player. Sad that he lost the Wii that had Wrecking Crew on it. Would be happy if the only game ever made was M.U.L.E. Gragtharr on Skywall-US. Garresque on Ravencrest-US.

Katie Grace

Katie is a long time gamer who has fallen in love with multiple genres. She started young by playing Nintendo 64, Spyro, and Blizzard games such as Warcraft II with family, then eventually moved into playing games in both my leisure time and as a occupation. She loves being immersed in different universes and exploring the characters that live in them, as well as just playing games for a good time.
