Rob and Darryl from the Training Dummies are here to join Nick, Katie, and Katie’s goggles to talk about Brewfest and have a few beverages in the process.
First, Rob and Nick talk about the state of Hearthstone and how there is a malaise affecting the game. Then, Nick credits Isilme from twitter for a correction about which city Azshara was in during her Warbringers cinematic.

Next, the group talks about the news that Mike Morhaime is stepping down as President of Blizzard. They wonder if he will still show up at Blizzcon to formally pass the torch to J. Allen Brack, and celebrate the positive influence he was for the Blizzard community. They also talk about Brack’s credentials for succeeding Morhaime as president, and ponder the future of WoW. They also make some Blizzcon predictions, including whether or not Diablo 4 will be announced at the convention. Then, there is a brief conversation about the state of Battle for Azeroth, and Nick admits that he’s fine working for Nathanos and Sylvanas because he’s lost his morals.

Then, Katie runs through a history of Brewfest, including the story of how Chen Stormstout and Grimbooze Thunderbrew started the holiday. Coren Direbrew proved to be a spoiler, and continues to attempt to ruin the holiday every year despite the Dark Iron Dwarves now being affiliated with the Alliance. Rob complains about having to ride rams. Nick mentions the Wolpertingers, and everyone fawns over the beer goggles that make everyone seem attractive.

Also, on October 13th, the Running of the Gnomes will be on the Feathermoon server. For more info please go to http://runningofthegnomes.tumblr.com/

Hosts

Nick Zielenkievicz

Host of WoW! Talk! and The Tauren & The Goblin. Sometimes known as the Video Games Public Defender. Wants to play more Destiny and Marvel Heroes but WoW is all-consuming. Decent F2P Hearthstone player. Sad that he lost the Wii that had Wrecking Crew on it. Would be happy if the only game ever made was M.U.L.E. Gragtharr on Skywall-US. Garresque on Ravencrest-US.

Katie Grace

Katie is a long time gamer who has fallen in love with multiple genres. She started young by playing Nintendo 64, Spyro, and Blizzard games such as Warcraft II with family, then eventually moved into playing games in both my leisure time and as a occupation. She loves being immersed in different universes and exploring the characters that live in them, as well as just playing games for a good time.
