On the Horde War Campaign (Part I)
A Bwonsamdi theory and we look at the Horde War Campaign events in patch 8.0....
Katie and Nick are back to answer some of your questions about what’s going on in WoW! First, Katie talks about leveling her Zandalari Paladin, while Nick finally did the Jaina fight on LFR.
They talk about the recent Vol’jin quest to chat with Bwonsamdi, Bolvar, and Eyir. They try to speculate who brought Vol’jin back, and Nick throws out a theory where the Lightforged Garrosh referenced in the Mag’har scenario is behind it all.
@RyanKohler10 asks about the Horde reaction to Baine’s arrest. Nick and Katie review the events leading up to that and talk about how most of the leaders were upset by what happened, with the exception of Geyarah of the Mag’har, who was too new to understand the situation. They expect that now is the time that the Horde leaders will unite to move against Sylvanas. They also debate whether Derek is or is not “the bomb,” as Jaina describes it, and try to consider how the Alliance and Horde could come together against the threat that is Sylvanas. Nick points out that the members of the Uncrowned from the rogue class hall have played a huge role in this expansion and we might see them unite the factions before all is said and done. The duo then goes off on a tangent about how much they love the Jaina fight in Dazar’Alor.
Alisaunder sent in several emails that needed to be addressed. First, she talks about Alex Afrasiabi’s comments about how Everquest should have ended, and consider if a WoW+ type mode would work when the game is done. Then they talk about portals and mounts. Next, Alisaunder asks about warlocks replacing portals which leads to Nick and Katie scheming for a guild to replicate an Uber-style model of fast-travel with a network of warlocks wandering Azeroth. Finally, Alisaunder asks about the player replacing the Lich King, which gets Nick and Katie’s approval, and leads to a discussion of how uncomfortable the Helm of Domination must be.

Host of WoW! Talk! and The Tauren & The Goblin. Sometimes known as the Video Games Public Defender. Wants to play more Destiny and Marvel Heroes but WoW is all-consuming. Decent F2P Hearthstone player. Sad that he lost the Wii that had Wrecking Crew on it. Would be happy if the only game ever made was M.U.L.E. Gragtharr on Skywall-US. Garresque on Ravencrest-US.
Katie is a long time gamer who has fallen in love with multiple genres. She started young by playing Nintendo 64, Spyro, and Blizzard games such as Warcraft II with family, then eventually moved into playing games in both my leisure time and as a occupation. She loves being immersed in different universes and exploring the characters that live in them, as well as just playing games for a good time.
We finally sink our teeth into Andromeda, evaluate the systems and try to determine who is the Jenkins.
Jinx update, Guilty Gear Strive 3v3 2nd beta, Capcom Cup XII announcement, new characters in Multiversus.
Its been a busy few weeks: Brutosaurs, anniversaries, documentaries, patch announcements, and more!
A reasonably timely episode about the upcoming 7.1 patch and second Live Letter for it, and other things.
