Our First Farewell

Lilith has this episode so Kristen and Pan decided to just sit back and chat about their experiences playing Final Fantasy XI. We have extremely fond memories of what, in all honesty, was a pretty unfriendly and grindy game. The game seemingly wore us down and remade us to cherish it’s difficult moments and obtuse systems and we spend the majority of our the episode just reflecting back on them. There’s a lot of common elements between XIV and XI too, and we touch on several those, and all the ways XIV has both grown from XI and really changed the experience for players too.
Gaming has been a core part throughout Poptarts life. Though her specialty is JRPGs, she tries to branch out and try new things. Most of her time gets put into the MMORPG, Final Fantasy XIV, but she still finds time to play new games.
Chip has a boring adult day job and then burns as much free time as possible playing the videos james. Fond of a variety of MMOs, JRPGs, and action games without active time button mashing.
Began the gaming life with a game boy to be kept entertained during a vacation in the early 90s and forgot to put it down after that. Currently, most gaming time goes into FFXIV. Doing her best to prove she's not a robot.
Playing all kinds of games since she was a kid, Deanna is a big fan of many different genres of games. But the main focus has been FFXIV since May 2018. She occasionally strays to FPS or RPGs whenever one catches her attention.
This week we return to Eos where there's Kett, a place named Advent, children in one form or another, and an Architect!
We continue our slow tour through the Dawntrial story, and also have some fun chaotic commentary.
