Everyone has had a few days to play Legion now and the consensus is that its great! Rei and Jeremy and Eric have run dungeons and give their opinions on the Darkheart Thicket, Violet Hold, and Halls of Valor dungeons. Everyone also shares their opinions of the assorted leveling zones, as everyone is forging a different path through the Broken Isles. Eric talks about the Death Knight class hall Acherus and the artifact weapons. Jeremy discusses the Warrior class hall and artifacts, and also talks about watching his roommate play through rogue content. Rei has visited the Priest, Shaman, and Druid class halls, and also did some of their artifact quests.
Nick talks about the Trueshot Lodge for hunters and the Titanstrike and Talonclaw artifact weapons, and how different class halls are from garrisons. Jeremy also talks a little about the PVP going on underneath Dalaran. Also, the Legion Companion app is coming on Tuesday. This is long overdue and a shame that it wasn’t provided for Warlords, even though Blizzard’s decision makes total sense. And we now know more about Patch 7.1, including Karazhan having a new map with an updated Chess event and new plays for the Opera.
Also, the three boss Trial of Valor raid will have us fighting Odyn, Guarn, and Helya to wrap up the plot for Stormheim. In news bites, Ion Hazzikostas clears up some artifact power concerns, Blizzard unleashed the banhammer again, there are two new Azeroth Armory episodes for the Ashbringer and Demon Hunter cosplay (which makes for an unusual episode), and Blizzard shares some Legion Invasion facts. When he isn't busy reading up on things related to, or raiding as a rogue on WoW, he's busy playing Super Metroid and Castlevania: Symphony of the Night over and over. He currently looks forward to when Samus and Alucard both have a new 2D side-scrolling adventure to burn through. He may be waiting a while, though.
