Emerald Nightmare and World Quest Impressions
The gang looks at Emerald Nightmare and World Quests....
Nick, Rei, and Eric are all level 110 finally and are able to talk about all there is to do at 110. Rei and Eric have been running Mythic dungeons and talk about the difficulty compared to Heroic or Normal. Nick has been finishing up the leveling experience by running through Aszuna. They also talk about the depth of the Suramar content and how large and immersive the city is. Profession quests are available and despite their depth, they are somewhat disappointing. World quests provide lots to do with hefty rewards as far as gear upgrades go.
There’s also class order hall campaigns and missions to complete. Overall, the gang is satisfied with Legion’s content, although Nick is worried it could run out at some point. Luckily, Patch 7.1 is on the PTR to keep the flow of new stuff coming rapidly. The gang also discusses LFR, since Greg “Ghostcrawler” Street commented that implementing LFR is one of his regrets from working on WoW. Nick talks about how if not for LFR, he wouldn’t get to see most of the end game content in game, and Rei and Eric talk about how even as a functioning progression guild, they still go into LFR when needed to level up a guildie or to complete legendary quests. The gang then tries to brainstorm ideas for what could improve LFR to allow people easier access to raid content without destroying community.
Ultimately, it seems like the Mythic dungeons may be Blizzard’s way of doing that. Also, players were able to work together to figure out the mystery of Kosumuth the Hungering, the summonable world boss. Legion sold 3.3 million physical copies which is comparable to Warlords of Draenor sales numbers. The Warcraft Blu-ray bonus items were announced. Watcher and Lore did a Legion Dev Q&A, and Watcher posted about upcoming class balance. Zorbrix moved from the QA team to the WoW esports team. The Blizzcon in-game rewards were announced. And Luis Barriga, lead game designer, gave an interview on mmogames.com. All this and more in this week’s WoW! Talk!

Decent F2P Hearthstone player. Sad that he lost the Wii that had Wrecking Crew on it. Would be happy if the only game ever made was M.U.L.E. Gragtharr on Skywall-US. Garresque on Ravencrest-US.
Rei is the 1 of the 5 SEELE members and the Ops Director at MTB. She enjoys anime, baking, cooking, gaming ( fighting, puzzle, rhythm, RPGs ), and spending WAY too much time working on spreadsheets. Current Games: Tales of Crestoria, WoW
Auto mechanic, car enthusiast, gamer, runner and almost never serious, Eric has been ditching responsibilities and gaming since age 7. His favorite genres are FPS and racing, although most of his game time is currently spent on WoW
