Between the recent time-limited mount rush, the rapid rate of raid testing, and the interminable AP grind, its hard to be a WoW player lately.

Get ready folks because WoW! Talk! #75 is here and its a doozy!!! Jeremy is still out with computer problems, but Rei and Eric have progressed through Nighthold up to Gul’dan. But everyone’s been too busy because Blizzard hates mount collectors!
First, everyone has been struggling to get the low drop-rate Big Pink Love Rocket mount while Love is in the Air is up. Then, everyone has been busy playing Heroes of the Storm to get the primal flamesaber mount (BE SURE TO SET THE AI TO BEGINNER IF YOU TRY IT!). Also, the archaeogly quest mount is up this week, so Nick has been busy digging up Highmountain to get his spirit moose mount. Nick also finished his death knight questline and got his second legendary.
Corey and Kaihro emailed in their thoughts on scaling in the old world. Corey pointed out it could make old material relevant again, and Kaihro thinks it will help with questing and grouping with friends. Everyone agrees, except Nick, who loves questing as it is. As for recent events, the WoW Token can now be used for battle.net balance. The price has skyrocketed and Nick is upset. Anytime Blizzard has a promotion or content they want to sell, the price is going to go up again. Rei points out this can be played like the stock market.
Also, Tomb of Sargeras is on the PTR, and while Blizzard has explained the reasons for seemingly rushing this, the gang talks about whether this is too soon. Nick is concerned there is too much content coming and there will not be enough time to complete it before the next expansion, especially given that artifact appearances will only be available during Legion. Many top guilds are quitting the world first race after Nighthold and becoming casual. Blizzard has said they are trying to fix the artifact power grind in 7.2, but it may not be enough.
Also in the news, PVP Mounts are becoming account bound, Mischief made $2.5 Million for charity, Blizzard has its best year ever finanacially, transmog sets are coming, your legendary drop chance is better than you think, and Blizzard is ending support for Windows XP and Vista. Thanks for listening to an extra-long WoW! Talk! #75!!!
