Lawncare Thoughts and the Patch 7.2 Quiz
Nick quizzes the gang on Patch 7.2 and hates lawn mowing more than pet battles....
Nick, Rei, and Eric are here to answer your questions! Specifically, YepX’s questions. First, Rei and Eric talk about running Emerald Nightmare again, but Nick joined them for his first run through! He liked the Xavius fight even though he struggled with many of he mechanics all night. He also liked the weird Emerald Nightmare version of Thunder Bluff. Rei and Eric also did Karazhan but aren’t quite ready to start attempting to get the time-gated mount. Nick is also frustrated because he is working to get the Falcosaur mounts, but did not realize they were so Pet Battle-intensive. Rei has an idea to help him get around that, though.
This week, YepX sent in two emails. First, he commented on the world scaling issue, suggesting that old materials could be used to modify craftable mounts and pets. He also gets Rei talking about earning gold in Legion. Nick likes the idea, but doesn’t think Blizzard would ever do that because the changes would just be used by Blizzard as a different mount reward (like all the reskinned mounts in Warlords). Storage on a mount would be cool though, since currently that’s only offered through Jeeves for engineering. YepX also asked about how to improve yourself as a player when guides don’t seem to be helping anymore. Rei talked about her philosophy for helping people as a guild leader, and Eric approached the topic from a raid-leading tank. Nick advised making sure you are using keybinds, and also said that addons are critical.
Nick and Eric agreed that timers for your Dots and bleeds are essential. Nick then brought up an article talking about enjoying playing Legend of Zelda, and compared it to WoW, where he feels players do too many things without considering whether they enjoy them or not. Finally, in our news bites, Nick goes over some of the topics from the Legion Q&A with Ion Hazzikostas, nameplate add-ons are being disabled in raids and dungeons, and the preview for PVP Brawls is up.
