It’s been a while since we’ve done a bonus episode, but this news is so big we can’t wait until next week. It has been announced that Smash World Tour 2022 has been canceled due to Nintendo deciding to not grant them a license. This is sending shockwaves not only in the Smash community, but the entire FGC. Smash World Tour made an official statement that detailed their interaction with Nintendo over the past year that lead them to believe that they would receive the license, only to have the rug pulled from them at the last minute. On top of that, there is alleged foul play involving Panda Global’s CEO. We dive into all of that in this bonus episode.
