Crashtag and StaticGorilla are overwhelmed by Tekken’s stacked weekend of news and matches. Starting in the Fighter’s Corner, Tekken 7 World Tour concluded, with some great matches and stories from Amsterdam. Included with the event was plenty of news regarding Tekken 8’s new and old mechanics, a Nina Williams trailer, an alpha test coming to EVO Japan, and ARIKA was announced to work on the game as well. Then in King Of Fighter XV, SNK will have a booth at EVO Japan with Kim playable and giveaways and new tournament announcment, plus invitationals to future events. Finally, in the randoms we take a look at some AI generated images of what fighting games could have looked like in the 80’s.
