We kick off the show with a brief rundown of February’s player moves. Several teams make some last minute additions to their ranks, while a major league figure in Jjonak retires. From here, we move on to a recent Community Update that revealed a bunch of key details for Season 5, including start dates, tournament details and playoff structure. We also cover 2 major hires to OWL’s Competitive Operations team, and talk about the possible strategy behind their additions.
We also cover the last month of ABK-Union news, including a recent statement on the situation from a U.S. Senator. As media coverage continues to hold, ABK begins to ramp up its Union Busting tactics in its Raven Software branch. We talk about the deterioration of the situation as workers attempt to negotiate in good faith with an unwilling ABK leadership group. We go on to talk about more major accusations against the company, including a recent lawsuit from the family of a former coworker and ABK’s failure to abide by California hiring laws.
