Howleir’s filling in for Lobosco as we lock in Midseason Madness Seeding. We cover the past week of competition as several midtable teams struggle to maintain seeding. We go game by game, looking at scorelines, highlight performances and more. Howleir gives his thoughts on the current situations for Florida Mayhem and Washington Justice as both teams scramble to lock down a tournament seed and Ramses dishes on 4 years of inconsistency from the Houston Outlaws.
We go on to preview the coming Midseason Madness tournament as teams from both conferences finally meet for the first time all season. We cover the first round of competition featuring key matchups between Fusion and Spark and with Outlaws and Mayhem. We also make our predictions for the finals matchup as OWL’s heavyweight teams shoot to win tournament gold. We wrap up with a look at some teams’ frustations with the practice setup for North American teams, and discuss pros and cons of the league’s approach to international tourney play.
