Summer Showdown Recap

We start things off with a recap of the past week’s news, including ANS and Piggy moving to new situations. We also cover our first look at Kiriko, the new support hero coming to Overwatch 2’s launch. We go through each of her abilities and discuss her potential playstyle and battlefield impact, before taking a closer look at how new heroes will function in Blizzard’s battlepass.

Next we recap all of the action from the Summer Showdown tournament. We go game by game, highlighting major performances, surprising upsets and more as teams battle to secure a finals finish. We wrap up with a quick look at ABK labor news as Activision Blizzard releases paybands for Raven Software due to the Freedom of Information Act.
