Episode 179 of SITREP Radio brings with it the first reactions of the lads after the TU6/Episode 2 dlc dropped. That’s right, the new update is live and is seemingly being enjoyed by the vast majority of the community. Is it perfect? No, but it’s a pretty big step in the right direction and it’s real good to see some positivity from the community again.

Mike, Rob and Luke also take a dive into the worst of the communities behaviour this week, with Twitter and Reddit especially ragey/salty/toxic. We’ve said before and we’ll no doubt have to say again in the future – if people want/expect the line of communication between the players and certain portions of the development team to be kept open then people are going to have to learn that being toxic just for toxicities sake is not going to do anyone any favours at all. Does that mean you have to be all positive and jolly all the time? Hell no! But spouting verbal attacks against people just because a computer game isn’t exactly as you’d like it isn’t the way to go either.

As is now tradition the lads end the show with questions from their Discord server and the Twitterverse. As mentioned in the show, the Bullets and Beer Discord link is discord.gg/WUsujr5 and our Patreon link is patreon.com/sitrepradio. The Division 2, SOTG, TU6, Qol, Haunted

I've been a gamer ever since I can remember. I started with a Commodore64, then Amiga1200, and various PCs. Consoles I've owned include SNES, Wii, GameCube, Xbox 360 and every version of PlayStation to date. My most played games are Team Fortress Classic, Championship Manager, early COD titles (don't mention Black Ops or MW3!) as well as almost all of the Gran Turismo and GTA series'.
