And Now We Wait...
PTS Closed as the release for Update 1.7 draws near....
Mike, Rob and Luke bring you the latest news around The Division. With PTS3 live across all platforms update 1.7 is inching closer and closer. The guys over at Massive have all-but confirmed that this will be the final stage of the PTS, barring any game-breaking issues arising, and have tentatively stated a release date of “mid-August” is their aim for the final build of the update to go live. Obviously, this is very much subject to change, particularly over the course of the next week or so. Any feedback you have will still be greatly received by the dev-team, so carry on testing agents. Let’s make 1.7 as good as it possibly can be.
Mike was back on Ideas for Massive duty this week, and called for the studio to make the Season Pass Content free-for-all to help boost the player base. Failing that, go Destiny-esque and repackage the game with the entire set of up-to-date patches (including the DLCs) all in one box for an enticing price. We know this idea may be controversial seeing how the game and the Season Pass were approximately £75.00 upon release, but plenty of games have taken similar approaches in the past, and many more will follow this model in the future, so if it helps the game we here at #TeamSITREP would be fully behind this.
And finally, in other news the guys talk about their gaming week where Player Unknown’s Battle Grounds features heavily, especially now that Luke has caught-up with Mike and Rob in joining the PC Master Race.
Mike is a huge lover of all things media based. From games to movies, comics and music. Preferably the alternative genre.
A bit of geek when it comes to TV, Movies, Podcasts, and Games.
I've been a gamer ever since I can remember. I started with a Commodore64, then Amiga1200, and various PCs. Consoles I've owned include SNES, Wii, GameCube, Xbox 360 and every version of PlayStation to date. My most played games are Team Fortress Classic, Championship Manager, early COD titles (don't mention Black Ops or MW3!) as well as almost all of the Gran Turismo and GTA series'.
This week we return to Eos where there's Kett, a place named Advent, children in one form or another, and an Architect!
We continue our slow tour through the Dawntrial story, and also have some fun chaotic commentary.
We welcome 2025 with some fresh patch notes for 11.1! Also, there are bugs on Siren's Isle!
Ryder and team may have missed out on the events of ME2 by leaving the galaxy but the Kett are determined to fix that.
