Less Running, More Gunning! Fuck Yeah!
Details drop on the PVP mode Skirmish and the new optimization options coming in Update 1.8....
As a special bonus episode this week Mike and Rob try their best to explain the ins-and-outs of Destiny to Luke ahead of Destiny 2 being released on September 6th. So, if there are any listeners out there in the same position as Luke – never played Destiny but looking to play Destiny 2 – this might* just be the episode you need to get clued up.
Luke has kindly had a copy of the new game, complete with the DLC package, donated to him by listeners Spectrum74, Danny Anderson and CaptKevin under the understanding that listening to Luke talk about Space Magic would be both funny and entertaining. TeamSITREP aren’t too sure about those claims, but are more than willing to keep up their end of the bargain, so here is the first of their Destiny-themed episodes. Look out for more ‘special episodes’ after the lads have had time to get their teeth into the new content, as well as an upcoming appearance on Mash Those Buttons’ dedicated Destiny podcast “In Orbit” in the not-too-distant-future.
*Probably not. There was quite a lot of “adaptation” during this episode, and quite a few corrections too. Alcohol also played it’s usual role.
Mike is a huge lover of all things media based. From games to movies, comics and music. Preferably the alternative genre.
A bit of geek when it comes to TV, Movies, Podcasts, and Games.
I've been a gamer ever since I can remember. I started with a Commodore64, then Amiga1200, and various PCs. Consoles I've owned include SNES, Wii, GameCube, Xbox 360 and every version of PlayStation to date. My most played games are Team Fortress Classic, Championship Manager, early COD titles (don't mention Black Ops or MW3!) as well as almost all of the Gran Turismo and GTA series'.
This week we return to Eos where there's Kett, a place named Advent, children in one form or another, and an Architect!
We continue our slow tour through the Dawntrial story, and also have some fun chaotic commentary.
We welcome 2025 with some fresh patch notes for 11.1! Also, there are bugs on Siren's Isle!
Ryder and team may have missed out on the events of ME2 by leaving the galaxy but the Kett are determined to fix that.
