Reapers Arriving, Mass Effect 2 Departing
Pro-Tip: Don't store your Reaper Artifacts right out in the open. Maybe at least get a box or something?...
Nick, Chip, and Kurabara are back to continue talking about their experience playing the Mass Effect Legendary Edition. This week, they approach the end of Mass Effect 2 as they discuss the Shadow Broker DLC.
They begin by talking about the order of the Shadow Broker DLC and the Arrival DLC which will be covered next episode. Then, they recap the events of the first part of the DLC. They talk about how Liara recovered Shepard’s body for the Illusive Man. They discuss the Drell and their relationship to the Hanar. They talk about Tela Vesir, the Spectre working for the Shadow Broker who is trying to kill Liara, and debate if Shepard is the only uncorrupted Spectre. They evaluate Liara’s apartment and how it provides insight into her personality. They wonder if she’s a good information broker. They talk about Liara’s obsession with Shepard and consider if she would be a paragon or a renegade. They talk more about her obsessive nature as it applies to the Reapers. They talk about her possibly being a love interest, and compare that to her role as Shepard’s friend. They also talk about the car chase sequence and the luxury erotic hotel where the final confrontation with Vesir takes place. They talk about how Vesir takes a random passerby hostage, and how she calls out Shepard’s action as she is dying.
Next, they recap Shepard and Liara’s assault on the Shadow Broker. They contemplate the newly introduced Yahg race. They talk about how the Shadow Broker’s identity makes it too easy to assume the mantle. They discuss the planet that the ship is orbiting. They talk about having to fight around the lightning capacitors. They talk about the Shadow Broker fight itself. They discuss Feron and Liara, and consider what a Liara dating sim would play like. They talk about the convenience of the Shadow Broker ship once it is unlocked. They also discuss hooking up with Liara if you are romancing her. They review the videos that were spying on the various NPC’s, and talk about the Shadow Broker’s drone.

Host of WoW! Talk! and The Tauren & The Goblin. Sometimes known as the Video Games Public Defender. Wants to play more Destiny and Marvel Heroes but WoW is all-consuming. Decent F2P Hearthstone player. Sad that he lost the Wii that had Wrecking Crew on it. Would be happy if the only game ever made was M.U.L.E. Gragtharr on Skywall-US. Garresque on Ravencrest-US.
Chip has a boring adult day job and then burns as much free time as possible playing the videos james. Fond of a variety of MMOs, JRPGs, and action games without active time button mashing.
A reasonably timely episode about the upcoming 7.1 patch and second Live Letter for it, and other things.
Melarina and Blazzinbob are joined by guests Jaytullo and Ziimm to discuss the evolving dynamics in WoW Classic.
Squad Goals returns to talk about Mass Effect Andromeda and this week we prepare for our journey 600 years in the future.
Guilty Gear Strive Season 4 changes, Knock Off Demo, Ghostface in MK1, and memorable fighting game bosses.
