Badlands, Good Times
We check out Kadara, where the Eirochs, Outlaws, and medicinal drugs are plenty. Also, we debate the AI population....
Nick, Chip, and Kurabara are back this week to talk about their experience playing Mass Effect Andromeda. This week, they finally finish up their time on Kadara!
They begin by explaining that in order to get the outpost on Kadara, you need to resolve the conflict between Sloane and the Collective. They discuss how to progress the story, you need to leave Kadara and return to the Tempest. Once aboard, Drack calls a meeting which opens up several new destinations and also unlocks the next step on Kadara. In particular, this includes part of Drack’s loyalty mission to implicate Spender is working against Addison and the Initiative.
Nick mentions a quest that had him speak with Reyes, but required him to video chat despite visiting him in person. They complain about how email is handled in the game. They talk about Sloane’s party that Reyes was invited to and whether Ryder’s behavior is appropriate. They discuss Umi Henon, the bartender, quizzing Ryder. They talk about Reyes and Ryder stealing Sloane’s whiskey and bonding, and how this is to set up conflict for Ryder later.
They talk about the confrontation between Sloane and Reyes and which choice each of them made. Kura was not ready for a Quick-time event and had a choice made for him. They debate whether Sloane or Reyes would make the better outlaw leader.
They discuss the need for outposts in Andromeda. They also debate if buying other Bioware games will help Mass Effect under EA’s stewardship.
They talk about Ditaeon, the Kadara outpost, led by Christmas Tate. Nick talks about how obvious the “old Skinner” quest was as the Architect. Chip enjoyed the fight as it felt better at a higher level.
They discuss respeccing Ryder and some of the combos you can achieve. They mention that for some fights it is essential to bring the right party.
They talk about some additional side quests like the ongoing movie night questline (Vetra wants Turian popcorn) and Drack finding some crumbs leading to a new pet for Ryder. They also recap Gil and Ryder turning on the Kett Transponder that we were looking for way way long ago on Kadara to set us back on the path of searching for the Kett.
They discuss an argument between Kallo and Gil that Ryder has to resolve. The mention Peebee wants to build a Remtech scanner as part of her ongoing questline, and talk about some emails including Drack falling for the Andomeda equivalent of a Nigerian prince.

Host of WoW! Talk! and The Tauren & The Goblin. Sometimes known as the Video Games Public Defender. Wants to play more Destiny and Marvel Heroes but WoW is all-consuming. Decent F2P Hearthstone player. Sad that he lost the Wii that had Wrecking Crew on it. Would be happy if the only game ever made was M.U.L.E. Gragtharr on Skywall-US. Garresque on Ravencrest-US.
Chip has a boring adult day job and then burns as much free time as possible playing the videos james. Fond of a variety of MMOs, JRPGs, and action games without active time button mashing.
WE'RE STILL ON KADARA!?!? How much more is there to do??? An Architect? An outpost? A party??? Lets get drunk!!!
We get to see Henry and Sam's side of the story, then the group attempts to escape Kansas City with Kathleen on their heels.
Patch 11.1 Undermine(d) is upon us so test your knowledge with the Patch 11.1 Quiz! Do you know what is coming?
