Blizzcon Reactions - Mounts, Patches, and Gadgetzan
Somehow the Tauren and the Goblin start out talking about Blizzcon stuff and get to talking about the role of Warchief in the game, and Gadgetzan....
The long anticipated Highmountain episode has finally arrived. Nick and Katie start by briefly discussing Patch 7.1 and Katie’s journey into the Druid Class Hall on her Tauren alt. Stijn sends in an email about Marcus and the Steamy Romance novel, and Nick and Katie talk about his various romances and how Blizzard keeps playing with that character, and wonder where it can go from here. Nick talks about his impressions of Thunder Totem, and how he went from not being impressed by the concept art to loving the structure, and how it feels like what Thunder Bluff should have been.
The story of Highmountain starts in the Highmountain – A Mountain Divided comic which introduced Mayla, the aspriring Chieftan, and Dargrul, the aggressive villain. Dargrul seizes the Hammer of Khazgoroth and kills Mayla’s father, leaving her in charge, and she must work with the Outsider (they player) to unite the Rivermane, Skyhorn, and Bloodtotem tribes. Ultimately, she takes her rightful place as Chieftan, and the Hammer is reclaimed.
Host of WoW! Talk! and The Tauren & The Goblin. Sometimes known as the Video Games Public Defender. Wants to play more Destiny and Marvel Heroes but WoW is all-consuming. Decent F2P Hearthstone player. Sad that he lost the Wii that had Wrecking Crew on it. Would be happy if the only game ever made was M.U.L.E. Gragtharr on Skywall-US. Garresque on Ravencrest-US.
Katie is a long time gamer who has fallen in love with multiple genres. She started young by playing Nintendo 64, Spyro, and Blizzard games such as Warcraft II with family, then eventually moved into playing games in both my leisure time and as a occupation. She loves being immersed in different universes and exploring the characters that live in them, as well as just playing games for a good time.
This week we return to Eos where there's Kett, a place named Advent, children in one form or another, and an Architect!
We continue our slow tour through the Dawntrial story, and also have some fun chaotic commentary.
We welcome 2025 with some fresh patch notes for 11.1! Also, there are bugs on Siren's Isle!
Ryder and team may have missed out on the events of ME2 by leaving the galaxy but the Kett are determined to fix that.
