Nick and Katie are back with new WoW content to talk about! But first, Katie is excited because not only did she get Ahead of the Curve on Heroic N’Zoth (and thus, her mount) but she also was able to get the Mail Muncher mount as well! And she’s been having fun playing with her brother. Nick, meanwhile, has been hanging out in Mechagon.

Nick brings up his theory that life the last few years and especially into 2020 feels alot like living on Azeroth where there are constant planetary threats emerging.

Finally, the duo gets into “A Moment in Verse,” the new short story by Madeline Roux, who will be authoring “Shadows Rising,” the Shadowlands prequel novel. They talk about Lor’themar being very serious in his role as Regent Lord, and how he and Thalyssra have connected since their meeting in the Void Elf and Nightborne intro quests. They also discuss their working together in Naz’jatar, and their increasing closeness suggested in their post-Reckoning dialog.

They discuss Lor’themar’s arrival in Suramar, and how he’s greeted by Thalyssra. They get into an off-topic discussion about how the TItans would have made all the races, so there would be some biological compatibility. They talk about Lor’themar’s poetry, and go over some of the highlights of his poem, “The Adder.” They talk about how the adder is Kael’thas, and speculate on whether Lor’themar and Kael’thas will interact with each other in Shadowlands.

They also talk about how Shadows are used in the story. Nick compares Lor’themar to Illidan, and then Nick comments that elves need cell phones.

Hosts

Nick Zielenkievicz

Host of WoW! Talk! and The Tauren & The Goblin. Sometimes known as the Video Games Public Defender. Wants to play more Destiny and Marvel Heroes but WoW is all-consuming. Decent F2P Hearthstone player. Sad that he lost the Wii that had Wrecking Crew on it. Would be happy if the only game ever made was M.U.L.E. Gragtharr on Skywall-US. Garresque on Ravencrest-US.

Katie Grace

Katie is a long time gamer who has fallen in love with multiple genres. She started young by playing Nintendo 64, Spyro, and Blizzard games such as Warcraft II with family, then eventually moved into playing games in both my leisure time and as a occupation. She loves being immersed in different universes and exploring the characters that live in them, as well as just playing games for a good time.
