AJ9Livess from Patch Day is here to talk with us about Classic Servers. He’s been playing through Antorus on normal difficulty but hasn’t beaten it yet. Meanwhile, Katie talks a bit about all the stuff that she’s been up to. She got her feral druid mage tower appearance and discusses how difficult that was. She also got the rogue class mount, which leads into a discussion about the rogue Class Hall questline, which contains massive spoilers for the ending for Nick (and anyone else) who is still working through it. Then we talk about the quest for the Rogue Class mount proper. This leads to Nick talking about how Blizzard is going to bother updating all the zones after many of the changes to the old world in Legion. Nick then tries to speculate where Sargeras put his hand down on the planet, and which continent he hit.

After that, everyone talks about what they are looking forward to with respect to Classic Servers. They talk about how viable they are and what they think the audience will be. They talk about what people are asking for on the servers as well as what should and should not be part of classic. They also reminisce about their experiences playing the game years ago and what that was like. They compare what people can expect on classic servers to what some people have experienced playing private servers. They discuss how classic servers aren’t for everyone, and how it might be different trying to fit the old server structure into the modern architecture. They also talk about whether graphics updates should be brought over to the old servers.

Hosts

Nick Zielenkievicz

Host of WoW! Talk! and The Tauren & The Goblin. Sometimes known as the Video Games Public Defender. Wants to play more Destiny and Marvel Heroes but WoW is all-consuming. Decent F2P Hearthstone player. Sad that he lost the Wii that had Wrecking Crew on it. Would be happy if the only game ever made was M.U.L.E. Gragtharr on Skywall-US. Garresque on Ravencrest-US.

Katie Grace

Katie is a long time gamer who has fallen in love with multiple genres. She started young by playing Nintendo 64, Spyro, and Blizzard games such as Warcraft II with family, then eventually moved into playing games in both my leisure time and as a occupation. She loves being immersed in different universes and exploring the characters that live in them, as well as just playing games for a good time.
