Just the Tauren III
Nick is alone to talk about Patch 8.2 and Avengers: Endgame. SPOILERS ahead!...
Nick and Katie are back to continue their discussion of the Horde War Campaign! But first, Katie talks a little about raiding Dazar’Alor. Nick meanwhile brings up the Alliance storyline quests and talks about the amazing quests on Thresher’s Wharf. This leads to a discussion of all-time great quests like The Day Deathwing Came and Welcome to the Machine. Nick laments that they weren’t around to do an April Fool’s episode but gives a shoutout to The Unshackled Fury podcast this year for their prank.
Finally, the duo continue with their review of the Horde War Campaign. Rexxar and Zelling lead an incursion against Northington Estate in Tiragarde Sound to steal some Azerite Weapons from the Alliance and trash the place. Lillian Voss shows her noble side when she takes care of Zelling’s family.
Katie is excited about working with Gallywix again, as we fly with him and his G.M.O.D. against Mekkatorque. Mekkatorque wins the first battle, and after repairing the G.M.O.D., we blow up an alliance airship while Mekkatorque escapes. His fate in Battle for Azeroth is discussed along with questions about if the Mechagnomes in Mechagon will be able to help him. This leads to Nick talking about a reddit post comparing the story of BfA to Bioncle, and speculation about throwing Xal’atath into space. They decide there is no good place to keep the dagger.
Next, Rexxar and Arcanist Valtrois help free Lady Ashvane from Tol’Dagor. Nick gives a quick recap of Ashvane’s role in the Alliance story, and then laughs with Katie about Rexxar’s use of the Wookiee Prisoner trick. When Sylvanas and Ashvane abandon Rexxar, Valtois, and the player on the docks, Katie expresses her anger. Nick speculates about Ashvane’s role going forward.
Finally, they reach the finale of the War Campaign in Patch 8.1. The Alliance stages an assault on Zuldazar from Nazmir, so Princess Talanji leads a force to repel it. After defeating the Alliance holed up in Hireek’s lair, the Abyssal sceptre is recovered and the Alliance’s treachery is revealed. Nazmir was a decoy. The Alliance blows up the Zandalar navy and attacks Dazar’Alor. Rastakhan, left defenseless with his forces in Nazmir, faces the Alliance in a losing battle.

Host of WoW! Talk! and The Tauren & The Goblin. Sometimes known as the Video Games Public Defender. Wants to play more Destiny and Marvel Heroes but WoW is all-consuming. Decent F2P Hearthstone player. Sad that he lost the Wii that had Wrecking Crew on it. Would be happy if the only game ever made was M.U.L.E. Gragtharr on Skywall-US. Garresque on Ravencrest-US.
Katie is a long time gamer who has fallen in love with multiple genres. She started young by playing Nintendo 64, Spyro, and Blizzard games such as Warcraft II with family, then eventually moved into playing games in both my leisure time and as a occupation. She loves being immersed in different universes and exploring the characters that live in them, as well as just playing games for a good time.
