Rob May from Omnic Lab, a podcast that focuses on Overwatch strategy, joins us to give us insight into the show. We also talk character balance in Overwatch, and Rob gives his thoughts on how he handles Blizzards approach to character balance. With the Summer Games in full swing there wasn’t much news to talk about. However, we did get some changes to the PTR that we will likely see go live.
Let’s get this out of the way, Junkrat may be getting two mines. It’s on the PTR, and it doesn’t seem to be going anywhere. Additionally, Orisa will see buff so her shield size and fire rate. Widowmaker gets a bit more escape potential with a grapple cooldown, as well as more utility now that her spider mine will mark enemies for her to see.
