Overwatch Open Beta has come to a close and gave us a preview of what it’s going to be like to play with a player base that’s completely new to the game. As expected, we saw a lot of players having trouble adjusting to the characters, but what is more worry some is we saw a distinct lack of teamwork; making solo queuing very frustrating. This was even more obvious on the console side of the beta, where the lack of teamwork and confusion lead to Bastion being at godlike status for this open beta. We discuss our thoughts on the open beta in depth, as well as bring up netcode again, dive into the latest Overwatch story content, and more.
