What to Do About Mercy? [/w John Horstmann]
Overwatch League premiered last week, but hasn't been the only talk of the Overwatch community. What are we going to do about res?...
Overwatch League kicks off this week, but that’s not what this episode is about.
Season 8 has started, and Jaa & Bob have completed placements on multiple characters. Something seems off those, as both have placed much lower than expected despite great stats during placement matches. They discuss what’s going on.
The latest OW patch delivers OWL skins, a new OWL menu in game, an update for Zenyatta, and LOTS of bug fixes for Doomfist. Additionally, console players will get some features they’ve been asking for.
Looks like Jaa isn’t the only person that’s been thinking Junkrat needs a nerf. His mine is receiving a bit of a nerf, while Mercy is getting hit hard with the nerf hammer. Valkyrie no longer has the resurrection benefits it had, as well as Guardian Angel speed being cut, and its length is reduced to 15 seconds.
Complaints have been bubbling up on the Overwatch forums stating that Rein needs a buff to compete with Orisa. Jaa and Bob talk it out.
Jarret is Executive Director as well as one of the founding members of Mash Those Buttons. He plays all types of games, but tends to lean more toward FPS, Stealth, and Combat games.
IT System Engineer by day, avid gamer by night! Bob has been gaming his entire life and first started standing on a chair playing the arcade version of Super Mario Bros. Now he plays all kinds of games but focuses mainly on Overwatch.
Voeld has so much to do it could fill several brochures, but there are no beaches. All we can do is stay extra frosty!
We discuss the Evo 2025 lineup, go over the Evo Awards categories and nominations, discuss DLC characters incoming for a few games, and get hyped over the Virtua Fighter tech demo..
This week we return to Eos where there's Kett, a place named Advent, children in one form or another, and an Architect!
We continue our slow tour through the Dawntrial story, and also have some fun chaotic commentary.
