Under the Sea
This is the final episode of our Shadowbringers 5.0 MSQ deep dive. Come listen to us complain about not enough deaths and question how blind Y'shtola actually is....
We’re back for another roundtable chat about Shadowbringers! In this episode we spend a little time talking about what we’re all actually doing now that we’ve finished playing through the story (it turns out we’ve got fun, AND games), and then dive very deep into the actual story quests starting from level 74 and going to the end of 78. It’s heavy spoiler territory, so if you haven’t made it that far you might want to hold off on listening (and go play the story instead, it’s really good!).
We take a whirlwind tour from the cool eaves of the Rak’tika Greatwood to the scorching sands of Ahm Araeng and there’s a lot of emotional content in this meaty middle section of story. We have some strong feelings (and strong words) for several characters, and only one or two jokes about miners. So strap in and let us take you on a journey in our second of three episodes summarizing the new expansion story!
Gaming has been a core part throughout Poptarts life. Though her specialty is JRPGs, she tries to branch out and try new things. Most of her time gets put into the MMORPG, Final Fantasy XIV, but she still finds time to play new games.
Chip has a boring adult day job and then burns as much free time as possible playing the videos james. Fond of a variety of MMOs, JRPGs, and action games without active time button mashing.
Began the gaming life with a game boy to be kept entertained during a vacation in the early 90s and forgot to put it down after that. Currently, most gaming time goes into FFXIV. Doing her best to prove she's not a robot.
We head to Meridian except we don't, only to find out the origins of the Angara. Plus, a fiend fights a destroyer!
Evo Japan announcements, Tekken DLC reception, and the NRS curse come for MK1.
Joel’s goodbye, Ellie’s flashbacks, and what it means for Season 3
Nick and Saelen have been digging into conspiracies in the Andromeda galaxy. Are they on the right track or just nuts?
