The Patch 3.3 Quiz
With Patch 7.3.5 live now, travel back in time with us for a quiz on Patch 3.3...
Nick, Rei, and Eric are back for 2018! Rei starts off by talking about a failed Mythic+ 17 run. Then she and Eric start discussing their experiences on Heroic Kin’garoth, and that leads to a discussion about how raiders can struggle when transitioning to a harder difficulty. Rei and Eric talk about how some raiders don’t try hard enough on normal to prepare themselves for heroic, and hard it can be to call people out. Nick points out that he struggled sometimes, and that being carried can be a problem because it prevents the raider from getting the full practice of all phases on a fight. Nick suggests that Blizzard should allow people to just practice one fight alone, as you can get limited opportunity to learn a fight once per week if your team is better than you. Rei talks about her efforts at recruiting guild members who can handle content appropriately.
Nick then talks about his struggles in running out of Order Resources and Bloods of Sargeras. Then, the gang mentions the Allied Races and they debate whether it is better for them to unlock in 7.3.5 or 8.0. Nick says that they are part of a stealth beta, and it would be better for them to unlock in 8.0 because it means 8.0 is coming sooner, in a sort-of reverse groundhog day. Nick also mentions his excitement over the lore behind the NIghtborne and the Void Elves.
The final topic is a recent tweet by Adam Holisky at BizzardWatch talking about whether WoW should come to console. The gang agrees that it would be a bad idea and would be unnecessary. They talk about the number of skills classes have and how difficult it would be to transfer that to a controller. Nick discusses the impracticality of using a keyboard with your console, and also points out that WoW’s community revolves around the game being on console.
The only item in the news this week is that you will be able to craft legendaries at random in 7.3.5. Thank you for joining us for WoW! Talk! Please email any questions to wowtalk@mashthosebuttons.com.

Auto mechanic, car enthusiast, gamer, runner and almost never serious, Eric has been ditching responsibilities and gaming since age 7. His favorite genres are FPS and racing, although most of his game time is currently spent on WoW
