Mechagon, 8.2.5, and No More Authenticators
The gang looks at Method’s world 1st Azshara, 8.2.5 PTR, and the death of the physical authenticator. Also, Harv talks about herbing it up....
Rei is here with Nick, Eric, and Harv to talk all about the goings on in WoW this week! Rei, Eric, Harv and their guild defeated normal Azshara this week! Despite the fight’s complexity it only took 14 attempts! Harv commented that the underwater boss was not nearly as annoying as anticipated, but it helped that they one shot that boss. Eric discusses some of the strategy used on Azshara and everyone makes fun of Lady Ashvane.
This leads into a discussion of the OoCS party that Rei and Eric hosted last weekend. Several members of the guild came out and had fun. Nick asks if the improved comraderie from the gathering helped influence their success on Azshara Normal, and Eric agrees. Rei points out that the party served as a team building exercise.
Nick, meanwhile, has been playing Crash Team Racing. He compares playing the remake of an old game to the nostalgia he will get from playing WoW Classic soon.
The gang then discusses Frank Pearce leaving Blizzard. Nick thinks its no big deal but Activision can wait out all the original Blizzard employees. Nick is more concerned about Morhaime’s recent comments about wanting to make more games.
They also talk about the ongoing world first race and Red Bull’s involvement causing drama.
Nick asks to talk about two reddit threads. The first does the math to prove that a year’s subscription to WoW only provides enough toiler paper to Blizzard for two weeks. The discussion goes sufficiently off the rails. Finally, they discuss the theory that Draenor is a moon.
Then Nick looks back at episode #37, when Method again had some drama that ultimately did not hurt their world first chances.

Host of WoW! Talk! and The Tauren & The Goblin. Sometimes known as the Video Games Public Defender. Wants to play more Destiny and Marvel Heroes but WoW is all-consuming. Decent F2P Hearthstone player. Sad that he lost the Wii that had Wrecking Crew on it. Would be happy if the only game ever made was M.U.L.E. Gragtharr on Skywall-US. Garresque on Ravencrest-US.
Rei is the 1 of the 5 SEELE members and the Ops Director at MTB. She enjoys anime, baking, cooking, gaming ( fighting, puzzle, rhythm, RPGs ), and spending WAY too much time working on spreadsheets. Current Games: Tales of Crestoria, WoW
Auto mechanic, car enthusiast, gamer, runner and almost never serious, Eric has been ditching responsibilities and gaming since age 7. His favorite genres are FPS and racing, although most of his game time is currently spent on WoW
Chris has been playing World of Warcraft since 2007. When he's not playing his hunter in Azeroth, he's probably playing one of his many alt hunters. If not doing that, he's probably playing a different hunter.
We finally sink our teeth into Andromeda, evaluate the systems and try to determine who is the Jenkins.
Jinx update, Guilty Gear Strive 3v3 2nd beta, Capcom Cup XII announcement, new characters in Multiversus.
Its been a busy few weeks: Brutosaurs, anniversaries, documentaries, patch announcements, and more!
A reasonably timely episode about the upcoming 7.1 patch and second Live Letter for it, and other things.
