Arclight Rumble, Children's Week, and Time-Saver Protodrakes
Arclight Rumble is announced, Children's Week will never be the same, and Season 4 is gonna get weird!...
Nick, Rei, Harv, and Eric are back to talk about what has been going on in the World of Warcraft lately. First, Rei talks about running Tazavesh using Dungeon Finder and having to do all the mechanics. She also talks about new guildies transferring in and making a new friend in LFR. She also talks about the Baubleworms pet vendor.
Eric talks about how Order of Corrupted Souls is 4/10, and then complains about his gearing, which leads to a discussion about the Great Vault. Nick speculates on how they could fix it and they talk about the problems inherent in its design, as well as what Blizzard needs to consider when iterating or developing a replacement. Eric comments that he would be happy if they brought back badges.
Nick talks about the Diablo Immortal announcement that open beta for pc starts on 6/2. He talks about how we can see how long Blizzard takes to develop games, because there were no plans to develop Diablo Immortal on pc as of November 2, 2018, and so in that time they were able to port the game to pc and work on improving it.
Next, they talk about the recent news, including that an encrypted patch 10.0 has been detected on the WoWDev server. Nick cautions that this is common and means that alpha is probably still 6-8 weeks away.
Then, they talk about the recent kerfluffle around Blizzard asking about NFTs in a survey. The community responded swiftly and loudly that they would not be welcome, and Mike Ybarra had to issue a statement indicating that there are no plans for Blizzard to do anything with NFTs.
Finally, they take a quick look back at episode #211 which featured the Patch 8.0 quiz.

Host of WoW! Talk! and The Tauren & The Goblin. Sometimes known as the Video Games Public Defender. Wants to play more Destiny and Marvel Heroes but WoW is all-consuming. Decent F2P Hearthstone player. Sad that he lost the Wii that had Wrecking Crew on it. Would be happy if the only game ever made was M.U.L.E. Gragtharr on Skywall-US. Garresque on Ravencrest-US.
Rei is the 1 of the 5 SEELE members and the Ops Director at MTB. She enjoys anime, baking, cooking, gaming ( fighting, puzzle, rhythm, RPGs ), and spending WAY too much time working on spreadsheets. Current Games: Tales of Crestoria, WoW
Auto mechanic, car enthusiast, gamer, runner and almost never serious, Eric has been ditching responsibilities and gaming since age 7. His favorite genres are FPS and racing, although most of his game time is currently spent on WoW
Chris has been playing World of Warcraft since 2007. When he's not playing his hunter in Azeroth, he's probably playing one of his many alt hunters. If not doing that, he's probably playing a different hunter.
Exciting crossovers in fighting games, celebrating Street Fighter 6's milestones, Capcom Fighting Collection 2, and speculating on the potential for a new Capcom vs SNK game.
We're back and chatting about the 7.1 live letter and all the content announcements therein.
We review Jason Schreier's Play Nice. Yeah, there's a ton of stuff about Blizzard in there! Go check it out!
