Jeremy is back to celebrate five years of WoW! Talk! with Nick, Rei, Eric, and Harv. Please note that as this is not a normal episode, the sound quality may be substandard. To celebrate, the gang gets on their 120’s and runs Nick through Heroic Tomb of Sargeras on his 110 worgen hunter. He finds a surprising number of upgrades for his character.

We start with Nick complaining about Worgen transmog. Jeremy talks a little about what he’s been up to. Frazley joins the raid. Nick asks everyone for their opinion on the Global cooldown changes this expansion, and no one is happy. Jeremy expresses his frustration with Azerith armor, and Nick recalls how we came up with a system in a prior special episode that would allow them to keep giving up artifact items forever, while tying specific abilities to certain expansions. Nick asks everyone for their favorite WoW! Talk! memories, and an audio issue makes it sound like Rei doesn’t care about the show. Nick shares an old Sentinax joke.

As for the raid, the gang starts with Goroth and progresses to the Demonic Inquisition, where Nick makes the requisite “no one expects” joke. Harjatan and Mistress Sassizne are next, followed by Sisters of the Moon (not to be confused with Sailors of the Moon from Futurama) and then the Desolate Host, which resembles and Icecrown Citadel boss. Finally, the gang plays guitar hero on Maiden of Virtue, has fun ignoring the add on the Fallen Avatar, and manages to defeat Kil’jaeden with minimal difficulty.

Hosts

Nick Zielenkievicz

Host of WoW! Talk! and The Tauren & The Goblin. Sometimes known as the Video Games Public Defender. Wants to play more Destiny and Marvel Heroes but WoW is all-consuming. Decent F2P Hearthstone player. Sad that he lost the Wii that had Wrecking Crew on it. Would be happy if the only game ever made was M.U.L.E. Gragtharr on Skywall-US. Garresque on Ravencrest-US.

Rei Liou

Rei is the 1 of the 5 SEELE members and the Ops Director at MTB. She enjoys anime, baking, cooking, gaming ( fighting, puzzle, rhythm, RPGs ), and spending WAY too much time working on spreadsheets. Current Games: Tales of Crestoria, WoW

Eric Knutson

Auto mechanic, car enthusiast, gamer, runner and almost never serious, Eric has been ditching responsibilities and gaming since age 7. His favorite genres are FPS and racing, although most of his game time is currently spent on WoW

Christopher Greer

Chris has been playing World of Warcraft since 2007. When he's not playing his hunter in Azeroth, he's probably playing one of his many alt hunters. If not doing that, he's probably playing a different hunter.
