On Blizzard Working Remotely, Burning Crusade, and an In-Office Blizzcon?
Harv still isn't playing much, Nick discusses Blizzard working remotely, Rei and Eric are raiding, and everyone wants Wrath Classic....
The gang is back in these trying times to talk about all things World of Warcraft! First, Rei talks about raiding Ny’alotha and the struggles of being a healer. Lightwell is missed by her and the chat room. Harv talks about bringing a shaman to heal.
Next, Harv talks about lacking motivation to log in and play the game. He’s been busy with work and is tired. Nick talks about being too distracted by real world events to play. The game requires more focus than he can give it. They agree that if you need to unsub and recharge your batteries, or if you want to continue to play the agme because it is your escape from reality, either one is acceptable.
Eric talks about getting back into the Mythic + life. He talks about how he felt better running as a DPS, not a tank. He compares tanking mythic+’s to tanking in raids, and admits that raids are much easier, and that sometimes he has to come up with other challenges for himself.
Finally, Nick talks about Blizzcon, and how it should be once every 15 months instead of every year. He complains about it always being in November, and wonders if given the current pandemic if Blizzcon will even happen this year. He tries to compare it to the Super Bowl and Wrestlemania before he and Harv go off on a wrestling tangent. He also points out that a February Blizzcon would have benefited Blizzard even with all their announcments by at least pushing the Shadowlands announcement back to after 8.3’s release.
Rei talks a little more about raiding again, and then the gang gets into the newsbytes. Malefic Cores will be more widely available. Google veteran Daniel Alegre was named Activision Blizzard COO and president, upsetting reddit who was concerned that he will add microtransactions. Horrific Visions will now only reward corrupted gear starting this week. Also this week, essences finally go account wide. So congratulations to the people on reddit who badgered the devs into making this change. Steve Danuser chatted with Windows Central about Shadowlands and BFA’s story. FInally, a dev tweeted out the early draft and final listing for Ursoc from Emerald Nightmare.

Host of WoW! Talk! and The Tauren & The Goblin. Sometimes known as the Video Games Public Defender. Wants to play more Destiny and Marvel Heroes but WoW is all-consuming. Decent F2P Hearthstone player. Sad that he lost the Wii that had Wrecking Crew on it. Would be happy if the only game ever made was M.U.L.E. Gragtharr on Skywall-US. Garresque on Ravencrest-US.
Rei is the 1 of the 5 SEELE members and the Ops Director at MTB. She enjoys anime, baking, cooking, gaming ( fighting, puzzle, rhythm, RPGs ), and spending WAY too much time working on spreadsheets. Current Games: Tales of Crestoria, WoW
Auto mechanic, car enthusiast, gamer, runner and almost never serious, Eric has been ditching responsibilities and gaming since age 7. His favorite genres are FPS and racing, although most of his game time is currently spent on WoW
Chris has been playing World of Warcraft since 2007. When he's not playing his hunter in Azeroth, he's probably playing one of his many alt hunters. If not doing that, he's probably playing a different hunter.
A heaping helping of banter mixed in with reviewing the level 93 trial of Dawntrail's MSQ. Also candy discourse.
The gang deals with raditation and Kett as they explore Eos. Stay in the protected zones and watch out for the FIEND!
Mai's Street Fighter 6 debut, Tekken 8's winter update, KOF XV character reveals, and our predictions for the fighting game lineup in 2025.
We explore the sleek new Tempest and start to get to know the crew, a little too well in some cases!
