Patch 7.1 and Jeremy's Missing Relic

Rei, Eric and Jer are up to facing Xavius, but haven’t downed him yet — probably because Jeremy has yet to unlock his third relic slot on his warrior. Eric was even nice enough to donate a mythic relic to him, too! Eric goes over their struggles with Xavius. Nick then brings up the topic of crafting mats in Legion, and how expensive they are. Rei advises using Warlords of Draenor flasks and potions since they are readily available. Nick has secretly been hoarding fjarnskaggl. Bonus events are back, and Nick enjoyed the Outland timewalking, although he wonders about how difficult it is supposed to be. Jeremy talks about why he hasn’t completed his class hall quest yet, and Nick shares his experiences working to unlock his other Death Knight artifacts. Eric was able to get the hidden appearance for the Blook Death Knight artifact.

In the news, Tom Chilton is working on another project at Blizzard so Ion Hazzikostas has replaced him as Lead Game Designer on World of Warcraft. Perhaps this is related to Tom slipping the subscription numbers in an interview with a Polish gaming magazine, although Blizzard denies that happened. Patch 7.1 is coming on 10/25 with the Karazhan mega-dungeon, the Trial of Valor raid, and the Blood of Sargeras vendor. Withered J’im was the world boss for two straight weeks and Blizzard has said they will fix it. There was also a hotfix applied to Mythic+ Artifact Power rewards.
