Raiding, Portals, and the Alliance Corp of Engineers
We discuss raiding Normal to Heroic, and reluctantly bring up the portal debate....
Patch 8.1.5 is upon us! But first, the gang talks about their time running through some mythic dungeons! Nick joined Rei, Eric, and Harv to go through Tol’Dagor, Waycrest Manor, The Shrine of Storms, Freehold, and an ill-fated Atal’Dazar +5 run. They also talk about Eric letting other’s tank and the status of the current push into Dazar’Alor. Nick complains about some monk drops.
The classic team released a status update looking back on changes made from feedback from the demo back in November. Some fixes included fixing regen systems and crit systems that needed to be fixed. Other things were not fixed, like warlock mounts disappearing as soon as a new one was to be summoned, as that was how vanilla worked. There are going to be many issues that arise where people disagree about exactly how it was back in vanilla.
Blizzard also did an art presentation looking at the development of the style and appearances for the Kul Tirans and Zandalari trolls. In this presentation, they revealed that Patch 8.1.5 was coming on March 12th.
With Patch 8.1.5 on the horizon, it is time for the patch 8.1.5 quiz. Questions include topics such as the Kul Tiran and Zandalari Troll allied races, the Two Sides to Every Tale achievement, remastered battlegrounds, updates to the Darkmoon Faire, new micro-holidays, Warlords of Draenor timewalking, Brawler’s Guild, and the new Crucible of Storms raid. Nick also manages to slip a question in about LOST as well, since the show involved flight #815, and this is patch 8.1.5. Find out who wins the quiz, and play along at home!
Finally, the gang looks back at episode #27. In particular, the WoW Token was at its cheapest and Patch 6.2 was on its way. We still didn’t know that Hellfire Citadel was to be the last raid of WoD, but the patch brought plenty of innovation to the game, including Timewalking and Mythic dungeons.

Host of WoW! Talk! and The Tauren & The Goblin. Sometimes known as the Video Games Public Defender. Wants to play more Destiny and Marvel Heroes but WoW is all-consuming. Decent F2P Hearthstone player. Sad that he lost the Wii that had Wrecking Crew on it. Would be happy if the only game ever made was M.U.L.E. Gragtharr on Skywall-US. Garresque on Ravencrest-US.
Rei is the 1 of the 5 SEELE members and the Ops Director at MTB. She enjoys anime, baking, cooking, gaming ( fighting, puzzle, rhythm, RPGs ), and spending WAY too much time working on spreadsheets. Current Games: Tales of Crestoria, WoW
Auto mechanic, car enthusiast, gamer, runner and almost never serious, Eric has been ditching responsibilities and gaming since age 7. His favorite genres are FPS and racing, although most of his game time is currently spent on WoW
Chris has been playing World of Warcraft since 2007. When he's not playing his hunter in Azeroth, he's probably playing one of his many alt hunters. If not doing that, he's probably playing a different hunter.
Chip does not think highly of Alec Ryder's decision making skills. And have we found our Kaiden and Ashley?
Blazzinbob welcomes guests NoHitJerome, EbonHardt, and HelloJTello!
MK1 Ghostface gameplay, Capcom Cup XI qualified players, Guilty Gear Strive patch, and fighting game standards.
We finally sink our teeth into Andromeda, evaluate the systems and try to determine who is the Jenkins.
