This week Nick, Rei, Eric, and Kurabara are back to talk about what’s been going on now that Season 4 is live. Rei talks about pugging and running Mythics. She is gearing up and working for higher keys and doesn’t understand why people would leave their own key after one mistake. She also talks about a night where all her attempts to run higher keys failed. They also talk about the vault and how easy it is to increase your ilvl in season 4.

Eric talks about raiding and how they have been struggling on the final boss each week. Nick is disappointed that there are no fated affixes this time around, as the Awakened Bosses only have more health and do more damage.

Kura talks about getting his legendary ilvl up as well as the flight paths in Zaralek caverns and struggling with public orders.

Then the gang takes the Patch 10.2.7 quiz. Play along and email us at or tweet at @wowtalkmtb on X (Twitter) with your score and you will be entered in to a drawing for a Lucky Quilen Pet.

In the news, Blizzcon has been cancelled for 2024. Nick talks about how he was surprised because previously Blizzard regretted cancelling the 2012 Blizzcon but also noted that much of the leadership from that time is no longer with the company. He also talks about the ways that Blizzcon can be reimagined and also that it does not ned to be tied to the first week in November.

Also, Christie Golden announced she was let go from Blizzard in the January layoffs. Everyone was surprised by this and Kura expresses his disappointment at the community members who were happy because they were (incorrectly) blaming Christie for problems with the Warcraft lore.

Finally, Nick takes a quick look back at WoW! Talk! #164 when there were rumors about WoW coming to Xbox.

Thank you for listening to WoW! Talk! Our next live show is scheduled for 5/20/24 at 10:30 pm E at For any scheduling updates, please follow us on X @wowtalkmtb. Send any emails about your thoughts or feedback to

Nick Zielenkievicz

Decent F2P Hearthstone player. Sad that he lost the Wii that had Wrecking Crew on it. Would be happy if the only game ever made was M.U.L.E. Gragtharr on Skywall-US. Garresque on Ravencrest-US.

Rei Liou

Rei is the 1 of the 5 SEELE members and the Ops Director at MTB. She enjoys anime, baking, cooking, gaming ( fighting, puzzle, rhythm, RPGs ), and spending WAY too much time working on spreadsheets. Current Games: Tales of Crestoria, WoW

Eric Knutson

Auto mechanic, car enthusiast, gamer, runner and almost never serious, Eric has been ditching responsibilities and gaming since age 7. His favorite genres are FPS and racing, although most of his game time is currently spent on WoW

Cory Treadway

Cory has been gaming ever since he fished an NES out of a trash can. A broad gamer who enjoys everything from FPS, Racing, RPGs, MMOS, RTS, World Building, Puzzles, Dating, Horror, Cooking, Sports. If its a game I will give it a try.
