The Coming Drought
Guild morale is important, especially when we could be entering a year before the next expansion....
Nick, Rei, and Harv are back and joined once again by Eric to talk about what’s been going on in World of Warcraft! First, Rei gets into how raiding and running mythic plus dungeons have been going. They talk a bit about Tazavesh and how it feels being split. They also talk about the frog mount that can be acquired in Haven and how you’ll need items from the vendor in Tazavesh, though that can be completed without actually running the raid. Then Eric talks about the struggles they have faced on Halondus, the robot crab boss in Sepulcher of the First Ones. He also talks about playing as a destroy lock as opposed to a blood death knight and how that is going for him. Harv mentions he hasn’t had time to play.
Next, Nick talks about how the reception to the cinematics in the Sepulcher of the First Ones raid were disappointing. He goes into a history of internet wrestling fandom, and how people were upset with the 1999 WWF (now WWE) storylines. He tells a story of himself and his friend going to a show and yelling about the head writer to show how smart they were, only to later learn they were not smart at all, and cautions everyone complaining about the WoW writing team to be careful with what they call for.
Finally, they talk about the news. First, some investor friends of Bobby Kotick are being investigated for insider trading pertaining to the Activision Blizzard sale to Microsoft. Then, they talk about the Save the Date announcement that the next expansion announcement is coming in April. They talk about what they’d like to see in the announcement. They also talk about the announcement that a Warcraft mobile game will be revealed in May and how Blizzard has seemed hesitant to announce mobile projects since Diablo Immortal.

Host of WoW! Talk! and The Tauren & The Goblin. Sometimes known as the Video Games Public Defender. Wants to play more Destiny and Marvel Heroes but WoW is all-consuming. Decent F2P Hearthstone player. Sad that he lost the Wii that had Wrecking Crew on it. Would be happy if the only game ever made was M.U.L.E. Gragtharr on Skywall-US. Garresque on Ravencrest-US.
Rei is the 1 of the 5 SEELE members and the Ops Director at MTB. She enjoys anime, baking, cooking, gaming ( fighting, puzzle, rhythm, RPGs ), and spending WAY too much time working on spreadsheets. Current Games: Tales of Crestoria, WoW
Auto mechanic, car enthusiast, gamer, runner and almost never serious, Eric has been ditching responsibilities and gaming since age 7. His favorite genres are FPS and racing, although most of his game time is currently spent on WoW
Chris has been playing World of Warcraft since 2007. When he's not playing his hunter in Azeroth, he's probably playing one of his many alt hunters. If not doing that, he's probably playing a different hunter.
Exciting crossovers in fighting games, celebrating Street Fighter 6's milestones, Capcom Fighting Collection 2, and speculating on the potential for a new Capcom vs SNK game.
We're back and chatting about the 7.1 live letter and all the content announcements therein.
We review Jason Schreier's Play Nice. Yeah, there's a ton of stuff about Blizzard in there! Go check it out!
Blazzinbob and Melarina are joined by guests Killnine and IAmLubes.
