Nick, Rei, and Eric are here to talk about the latest in World of Warcraft news! But first, Eric talks about OoCS defeating Heroic Artificer and struggling against Lady Inerva. Rei has been busy with the Lunar New Year but also managed to run some Torghast and cycled through her alts to get the Love Rocket. Nick talks about Torghast and the struggles of not being able to save a playthrough.

In the news, Lucky Yun is a golden Ox mount for the Lunar New Year. It is available on the mount store or with a 6-month subscription, and the gang rehashes the arguments against including mounts with the subscription.

Valor Points are returning in Patch 9.0.5. They will only be available in Mythic + content and the gang talks about PVE gearing in Shadowlands.

The BlizzConline schedule was released. Nick talks about how there’s a wasted channel that Blizzard could be using to put up more content. He also talks about how because it has been pre-recorded, it will be very seamless in the transitions and well scheduled. He complains that Blizzard had the chance to make BlizzConline a truly online experience by having everyone in an online space together but they missed the chance. Then he shares his theory that Thrall is going to die based off the odd Evolution of Thrall panel that doesn’t include Chris Metzen.

Our question of the week is What did you enjoy most about BlizzConline?

Finally, we look back at WoW! Talk! #78 and talk about oversaving resources and some old April Fool’s Jokes.

Hosts

Nick Zielenkievicz

Host of WoW! Talk! and The Tauren & The Goblin. Sometimes known as the Video Games Public Defender. Wants to play more Destiny and Marvel Heroes but WoW is all-consuming. Decent F2P Hearthstone player. Sad that he lost the Wii that had Wrecking Crew on it. Would be happy if the only game ever made was M.U.L.E. Gragtharr on Skywall-US. Garresque on Ravencrest-US.

Rei Liou

Rei is the 1 of the 5 SEELE members and the Ops Director at MTB. She enjoys anime, baking, cooking, gaming ( fighting, puzzle, rhythm, RPGs ), and spending WAY too much time working on spreadsheets. Current Games: Tales of Crestoria, WoW

Eric Knutson

Auto mechanic, car enthusiast, gamer, runner and almost never serious, Eric has been ditching responsibilities and gaming since age 7. His favorite genres are FPS and racing, although most of his game time is currently spent on WoW
