MacFarlane Reckons Kingdoms of Amalur is coming in February 2012

38 Studios kicks, winds, and delivers in early 2012. Protip: that was a Curt Schilling/baseball reference.

Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning has been flying a bit under the radar, what with all the Skyrim fervor and whatnot and so on and so forth and… sorry, got carried away there.  It won’t happen again.  Anyhow, we’ve got some news on the game thanks to Spawn creator and Amalur art director, Todd MacFarlane, dropping the release date bomb at Comic-Con.

“It’s scheduled for February, unless EA tells us otherwise,” MacFarlane stated.  That’d be pretty smart time for the game to drop, with many having moved on by then from that 11/11/11 RPG that I mentioned earlier, and it not quite being time for EA’s other RPG to be sprung on the masses the following month.  For more on Reckoning, click on over to our impressions.
