The newest Battleblog is up and it shows part of the Battlefield 3 story mode in which soldiers from a Marine division are invading Tehran and I have to say, it looks spectacular. The message this Battleblog delivers is that the game will have a tone all its own. The creators at DICE want to give users a whole new experience instead of that of the average shooter, so, according to the article, they are going to great depths to put you into the moment and have you make valid emotional decisions.
Another point they touched on was reality. The article states: “We’ve sought to keep the game feeling as plausible as possible, because the moment the audience stops believing it could happen, then you’re just like every other shooter.” So far, Battlefield 3 is shaping up to be an amazing game and this trailer puts you deeper into the experience than ever before.
