So I’m a big Battlefield fan, as anyone on this site can tell you, and I’m therefore happy to report that EA has finally decided to release some info on the beta for Battlefield 3. The public beta is set to run between September 29th and October 10th. Gamers who have purchased Medal of Honor: Limited Edition or pre-purchased through Origin will have access to the beta on September 27th.
Operation Metro will once again make a return from the alpha version and, more exciting still, is the revelation that there is currently set to be no lock on how long or how high players can make it through the ranks during the beta’s run. I’m cracking my knuckles and making preparations to disappear off the grid for a week while I play, because I gots me Medal of Honor: Limited Edition. That’s right; I’ll be playing the game early while many of the rest of you poor souls have to wait until the 29th.
