Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning is an upcoming fantasy game that will be releasing on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC. The world of this title, at least in a literary sense, was created by fantasy author R. A. Salvatore. Those who would like to learn more about this world can attend the “Creating a World Worth Saving with R.A. Salvatore” panel at the New York Comic-con. This world is truly deep, with 10,000 years of history behind it. Those participating can attend this panel and get a true grasp behind the world of the characters within the game. This title seems very promising, with the lead designer of The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind and The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, Ken Rolston acting as executive designer. Attending this panel are R.A. Salvatore, Steve Danuser (creative director of 38 Studios), Ian Frazier (Lead Designer of Big Huge Games), and Andrew Auseon (Narrative Designer of Big Huge Games). The panel will be held at the New York Comic-con at The Jacob K. Javitz Convention Center in room 1A24. Show up at 1:30 PM (EST) on Friday, October 14th to listen in. Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning has a planned release date of February 7th, 2012.
