That’s right gamers; if you haven’t already heard yet, the Battlefiled 3 (BF3) expansion pack Back to Karkand is coming Tuesday, December 6th for PlayStation 3 players. The rest of us will have to wait a week before we can get our hands on it, though. In the expansion, four great classic Battlefield maps (Wake Island, Sharqi Peninsula, Gulf of Oman, and Strike at Karkand) have been re-imagined thanks to the Frostbite 2 engine.
Three new vehicles and ten new weapons will be available to those who grab the pack, too. Finally, a new assignment system in which players are given assignments that will, upon completion, result in the unlocking of Back to Karkand weapons is part of the DLC as well.
