Final Fantasy XIII-2 Trailer, Screens

The latest footage of Square's RPG sequel spotlights the battle system.

There used to be an embeded media player here, but it doesn't work anymore. We blame the Tumbeasts.

Square’s been dropping screenshots and trailers of next month’s Final Fantasy XIII-2 almost faster than they can be viewed over the last few weeks. As the game’s January 31, 2012 release draws ever closer, the media blitz looks like it’s going to keep on barreling along.

The latest trailer shows off the tweaked ATB system which now has “Cinematic Action sequences.” Such sequences are meant to keep things fresh and get players more involved in the action. We’re told that this is the first in a series of battle trailers, so expect more like this between now and the end of January.
