Warp into Microsoft’s Xbox LIVE Arcade House Party

A loveable-yet-lethal orange alien is the first on the dance floor.

There used to be an embeded media player here, but it doesn't work anymore. We blame the Tumbeasts.

The XBox LIVE Arcade House Party is a series that will showcase the work of independent developers. Microsoft will kick off the party on February 15th, with Warp. Warp is a puzzled based, stealth action game where you play as Zero; a lovable and lethal orange alien.  Zero was captured by cruel scientists to experimented on and must escape the facility; using his abilities as seen above. There are two ways to play this game: take sweet bloody revenge on every living soul inside or you can sneak out with no-kills. With endless combinations of abilities and upgrades, Warp lets players discover the most effective ways to solve puzzles and move throughout levels and challenge rooms; perfecting their skills and topping competitive leaderboards. Warp will be 800 Microsoft points and available for PSN and PC on March 13th for $9.99.

Alan Wake’s American Nightmare, Nexuiz, and I Am Alive will also be attending Microsoft’s House Party. The party will end on March 13th and for those that pick up all four games will receive 800 Microsoft Points. The 800 points aren’t immediate. It may take between 4 – 6 weeks to receive them and must be used by 12/30/2012. Be sure to use those points before the world supposedly ends.

Katie has always had a connection to games and was able to make Super Mario Bros. a motion game before Nintendo even thought of the Wii. She has a serious addiction; an illness if you may, of loving ridiculous games. She has been through an extensive digital rehabilitation, but we fear her addiction is surfacing again.
