We first heard of Jotun not long ago, but Thunder Lotus Games is back with an update video that shows a prototype of the combat. A VERY early prototype of combat. Even though the Jotun and your character are represented by icons, it should give you a pretty good idea of what fighting these large creatures will be like. According to the video the controls for Jotun will be simple. Move and charge in any direction, and you will be able to do a fast attack or a more powerful charged attack.
Jotun will have individual moves and attack patterns. You’ll need to be able to dodge their powerful attacks while chipping away at their large life pools. Two details not mentioned in the video are that the Jotun Kickstarter campaign is almost at 80% and that the game was Greenlit in under 6 days.
